PARADE
The 4th of July was more than ever this year! We had so much fun greeting happy parade goers. The team passed out candy and Chloe, two of her friends and their horses (including Phoenix, of course) closed out the parade in style. Happy Birthday, USA!
ANNUAL SHREDDING EVENTS
Join the team as we shred the old year while collecting canned good for our friends at the Food Bank of Contra Costa/Solano. This year we shredded 3200 pounds while feeding 150 meals to our friends in need.
LAURA'S PUMPKIN PATCH
Magic occurs at the corner of Elderwood/Skyview as it transforms into a pumpkin patch. Choose a pumpkin, snag a treat or two and enjoy the crunch of fall leaves as we welcome the spookiest holiday of the year.

Ghosts beware! Laura's team joined the Pleasant Hill's Haunted Trail, delighting more than 1000 local children and their families. "I ain't afraid of no ghost!"
PLEASANT HILL REC FAMILY LUAU
Aloha! Pleasant Hill's Family Luau was right up Laura's alley. Did you know that she grew up in Hawaii and used to dance the hula? Laura’s favorite is Wahine ‘Ilikea. Special thanks to team-member Maria Thomas who helped assure that the Luau was a success!
